Dr. Lee received his degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery in South Korea before completing a 4 year residency program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Yonsei University and its affiliated Severance Hospital in Seoul, South Korea.
During his residency, Dr. Lee received training in oral cancer, head & neck reconstructive surgery, orthognathic surgery, cleft and palate reconstructive surgery, trauma surgery, oral infection control, distraction osteogenesis surgery, minor and complicated dental extractions, implant surgery, as well as TMJ open surgery. He also gained knowledge in emergency medicine, general surgery, anesthesiology, and oral pathology.
Dr. Lee was invited as a visiting resident to the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Queen Elizabeth II Victoria General Hospital, Halifax, NS Canada in 2001. Upon completion of his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery program in South Korea, he decided to immigrate to Canada. He completed qualifying program at Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia for general dentistry. Dr. Lee now provides General Dentistry in BC at several of our Sedation Dental clinics. Dr. Lee received his I.V. Sedation Certificate from CDSBC (College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia).

Dr. Karen Kwon graduated form Dalhousie University with a degree in Biology in 1996 and was accepted at Dalhousie University School of Dentistry in the same year. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgeon degree from Dalhousie University, Halifax, NS in the year 2000. Upon graduation, Dr. Kwon established and operated a private dental office (Public Gardens Dentistry Inc.) from 2000-2006. Dr. Kwon is married to Dr. Tom (Kwang) Lee and has two sons, Kevin and Jaydon.

Brad earned his DDS degree from China and taught students at dental school almost 20 years.
After he moved to Canada, he completed RDH program and started off new career about 6 years.

Rachel moved to Canada at a young age from South Korea and is fluent in both English and Korean. After obtaining her CDA certification, she started off her career in the Dental field as a Certified Dental Assistant and a Certified Dental Anesthesia Assistant.
Having obtained in-depth understanding of patient care and office operations, she has since become an Office Manager at the Burnaby Office. With hands-on work experience of providing dental care, she aims to provide the upmost patient care with tailored experience for each patient that visits or consults at the Burnaby office.
Away from the Office, Rachel loves to binge-watch on Netflix with her husband. Despite being glued to Netflix, Rachel is very outgoing and her cheerful personality will make your next dental visit feel like a breeze!
